Art Hives function from the premise that everyone is an artist, and that making art is a universal human experience.
This is FREE and OPEN to the public.
The Art Loft is a non-profit community art center offering classes, workshops, lectures and gallery shows. The Art Loft is collaborating with the Midcoast Art Hive to provide the space for a free, open community art studio once a month (to start). Individuals of all ages are welcome to come and make art. Supervised children are welcome to stay and make art with their parents and caregivers. There will be a facilitator on hand for the Art Hive but this is not a class. While the faciliatator will help guide anyone who asks for assistance, there is no instruction.
Donations to cover the cost of art materials and snacks are welcomed but not required. Materials will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring materials to share with others
